The Tan Brush

How it all began

The Tan Brush® was conceived by three friends in February 2019 and was inspired by Lady Gaga’s ‘Five Foot Two’ documentary.
Just before Gaga was about to perform, a make up artist was applying final touches to her leg. At first glance it was considered to be oil or glycerine but then we thought it may have been a tanning product.
We wondered why tanning companies hadn’t developed a brush to replace the problematic mitt. So, after searching social media platforms for a tanning body brush without success, we made a decision to create a brush that would replace the mitt and change how tan would be applied in the future.

We used our collective 50 years experience in professional beauty and 25 years experience in manufacturing, beauty and health products to bring this innovative product to market.
